The Government’s recent announcement to reform Industry Training has meant we’re going to have to put BarberCraft on hold this year.
We can only apologise and hope you all know how much we value your support.
Our priority at the moment is to spread the word about the Government’s proposal to our industries. If the changes go ahead, HITO and BarberCraft would be disbanded. Find out more on the HITO website. https://www.hito.org.nz/event/barbercraft-2018/
Want to make a difference? Tell other barbers about the changes, and provide feedback to the Government by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org before March 27th 2019.
BarberCraft has been a great celebration of the culture and professionalism of the barbering industry. HITO wants to keep this spirit alive by bringing barbers together for regional networking meetings in coming months.
All being well, Barbercraft will be back… so keep your shavers buzzing and blades at the ready.
